PERFECT TENSE

Definition
Present perfect tense is used for describing a past action effect on the present. Present perfect tense is formed by combaining have/has with the main verbs past participle.

The Pattern:
(+) S + have/has + Verb II + Complement
(-) S + have/has + not + Verb II + Complement
(?) Have/has + S + Verb II + Complement

Example:
(+) She has arrived
(-) She has not arrived
(?) Has she arrived?

Definition
Past perfect tense is a kind of tense that is used to describe an action or an event and completed or finished still certain time in the past too; or past perfect tense is used to express an action or an event that had happen before the other event or action happened.

The Pattern:
(+) S + had + Verb III + Complement
(-) S + had + not + Verb III + Complement
(?) Had + S + Verb III + Complement
